The Finnish sauna

The Finnish sauna is a dry sauna with dry hot air.

In a steam bath, the air temperature is from 40 to 60 ° C with a relative humidity of 90-100 ° C, and in a Finnish sauna - an air temperature of 70-90 ° C with a humidity of 5-15%.

The air temperature in the sauna can reach 140 ° C. It is because of the low humidity that heat is transferred more easily than in Russian and Turkish baths. But at the same time, the person sweats intensely.

The traditional Finnish sauna is known almost all over the world. This is a place where peace reigns, here you cannot quarrel. There’s an old Finnish saying: “Behave in the sauna as you would behave in the church.”
